After a long day of work, going to the gym to workout can seem like such a tedious task. Then there are those who aren’t part of a gym and try to find ways to get in a good workout. Going running isn’t for everyone and buying equipment for your home can be expensive. As a solution to these problems, here are a few simple exercises that you can do in the comfort of your own home. Just do a few reps of these exercises and your daily workout is done for the day.
A fairly simple exercise that requires you to run in place while lifting your legs up as high as possible with each step. This exercise is a good full body workout. Another full body workout to try out is jumping jacks.
Lie on the ground and hold your body up with your toes and forearms on the floor. Try and hold this position as long as possible as it helps strengthen your abdomen.
Not everyone can do push-ups correctly so this should serve as a substitute. Stand in front of a wall with your arms out and palms flat against it. Keeping your feet in place, bend your elbows and lean towards the wall and return to position.
Lie down on the ground and lift your hips up while keeping your feet on the ground and your back straight. Hold position to strengthen lower back and abdomen.
Step on Chair
A simple exercise that works out the legs. All you have to do is find a chair, step up onto it and then step back down. Repeat this process a few times.
Keep that chair handy for this great tricep workout. Sit on the chair and move your hips off while using the edge of the chair to balance with your hands. Use your arms to move yourself up and down.
Stand straight with your back flat against the wall and slide down with your knees at a 90 degree angle. Keep your back straight and hold as long as you can.
