Below are a few tips that will help you not only maintain your braids for a much longer period of time but also take care of the hair underneath.

Night Time is Wrap Time

Wrapping your braids up before you go to sleep is the first step in ensuring healthy, great looking braids. The wrapping, done with a silk headscarf will prevent the braids from drying out whilst also leaving the edges much fresher. Also, investing in a satin pillowcase will help as often than not, the headscarf may fall of during the course of the night.

Save Your Thirsty Scalp

Investing in a spray bottle is a move that your roots will thank you for later. Your hair needs to be continuously moisturized to survive and using water as a moisturizer is a sure way to do it.

Just Because It’s Braided, Doesn’t Mean You Skip Wash Day

As tedious as it sounds, you need to wash your as because if you don’t, breakage cab occur once you take those braids out. So what’s the best way to wash the braids without creating a frizz monster?
