1. AKA
Holding the number one spot is Kiernan Forbes, popularly known as AKA. He often performs in sneakers, ripped jeans and glasses but when it is time to clean up, he does it quite well. AKA is a label freak and his favorites includes Luis Vuitton, Gucci and Versage. Oooh, and we love his clean and unruffled haircut.
2. K.O
Named ‘Stunner of The Year’ in 2014, K.O is no stranger to the best dressed rappers in South Africa. The self proclaimed ‘Skhanda Gawd’ usually dresses in stylish clothes and shades. He is a lover of international brands like Gucci and Luis Vuitton. He launched his own clothing merchandise under his company named Cash Time.
3. Moozlie
Nomuzi Mabena is one unapologetic rapper who can wear the 90s street style and also slay in a gown and heels. She graced this year’s South African Music Awards in a Gert Johan – Coetzee red gown. We also love how she pulls of accessories from simple necklaces to trendy chokers.
4. Cassper Nyovest
Abuti Fill up as he is popularly known is also another trendsetter. He burst into the Hip Hop scene wearing saggy pants and sneakers. He then transitioned to a more sleek and stylish look which includes a lot of international brands. He recently launched his own clothing line under his record label,Family Tree. We love how he keeps his style simple yet elegant at the same time.
5. RickyRick
Self-proclaimed ‘King Kotini’ is an absolute lover of luxury brands and is unapologetic about it.Fur coats, over-sized necklaces, branded watches and glasses are Ricky’s favorites. He manages to pull any outfit ranging from the funky street wear to an elegant suit. The fifth spot couldn’t have suited anyone better.
