
Marrakesh is many travelers first stop on their journey through Morocco and is a must see location! Marrakesh has become a metropolitan oasis, located at the tope north of Africa. Marrakech, like various other cities in Morocco is separated into two parts: The Ancient medina or otherwise known as the old city, and the second part is Ville Nouelle meaning the new city. Jemaa el – Fna, this is somewhat of an open – air theatre combined with a museum. It is one of the top spots in the city, the daily square pulsates with snake charmers, henna tattoo artists and a variety of other entertainers.
Jardin Majorelle
Another location to not be missed on your journey through Marrakesh, it is the creation from the French painter known as Jaques Majorelle. He spent 40 years infusing his creativity into a magical garden. It is a completely enchanting experience and you can get lost amongst the magical stress and hear the tranquil sounds sinuous streams.
Koutoubia Mosque
Mosque holds a high importance in the Moroccan culture, it is seen throughout the city. The Koutoubia Mosque however is a one of a kind; it is the largest mosque in Marrakech. It is not only a spiritual centre but also a point of reference for international architecture.
Saadian Tombs
The last of our must see locations, these tombs were created as the final resting place for many of those who ruled in the Saadi Dynasty. They have been admirably bright tiles all marvelously decorated. Today they stand as one of the most popular thing to be seen in Morocco.
