The Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) has been hard at work for ten years, building up stories in countless hit movies like Captain America, Iron Man and Thor. For ten years we have watched these movies and followed these integrated plots almost religiously and it is soon coming to the grand finale, Avengers: Infinity War.
We’ve been introduced to countless great heroes in the MCU and this movie is a chance to see almost all of them on the same screen fighting a war bigger than anything else they’ve ever faced. According to Marvel, the movie will untie almost 67 characters together.
After protecting the world form danger for years, a new threat looms over the world, Thanos. His goal is to collect all six infinity stones, stones that hold unimagnable power, and use its power to inflict his will on the world. It is up to the Avengers, with help from others, to assemble once more and stop Thanos and save the world.
The stakes are higher than ever with fans constantly speculating which characters will survive and which won’t make it to next year’s sequel. It is so big that it is expected to surpass every other movie the MCU has made. Infinity War hits theatres 27 April and remember, no spoliers.
