Since it’s debut in February, Marvels Black Panther remains a much talked about movie. Critics and fans were more than taken with the story and especially the new characters that were introduced. In fact the characters were such a hit that Marvel is considering doing spin of movies based on them.
One of the best parts of Black Panther were the incredible female characters that we were introduced to. Charismatic and funny characters like T’Challa’s little sister Shuri to strong and independent characters like his love interest Nakia and also Okoye, the leader of the Wakandan special forces. Each of these women have become fan favourites and a spin of movie about any of them would be more than welcome.
Black Panther is one of the few movies that truly showcase strong female characters, establishing them as fierce warriors that protect their country and incredibly smart individuals capable of doing anything. It would be great to see these ladies taking centre stage and leading their own hit movie. Wakanda forever!
