WAYS TO KEEP YOUR SKIN HEALTHY

*Don’t spend much time on the sun- try to avoid the sun, especially at the hottest part of the day. The sun can damage your skin over time and make it age faster. If your job involve being on the sun most of the time, use daily sunscreen, wear clothing that covers your skin and put on a hat.

*Avoid long, hot showers and baths- it feels good taking that long bubble bath after you’ve had a long day but it is not good for your skin. Hot water can dry out your skin, so if you spend a lot of time in hot showers you risk harming your skin.

*Stay hydrated- drinking water is essential for your body to function well, and that includes your skin. If you are dehydrated your skin will also dry out. Drink enough water so that you don’t feel thirsty, which is usually enough to keep your skin hydrated.

*Sleep- your skin rejuvenates and repairs itself mostly while you are sleeping. Make sure that you not only sleep for eight hours a night, but that is quality time.

*Engage in activities that relieve stress- high level of stress will compromise your skin. Consider yoga or meditating. Eliminate problematic people and activities from your life. Confide in your friends and openly talk to them about your worries and troubles.
