The Our Perfect Wedding presenter search has come to an end and the winner has been announced. After weeks of challenges, 26 year old Kayise Ngqula has landed the role of Our Perfect Weddings new presenter.
Kayise, along with 5 other finalists, Noni Mbete, Mbasa Fefe, Natasha Mazomba, Nolusindiso Macanda and Asanda Mbali waited anxiously for the public’s decision at the finale which was held at Shepstone Gardens in Johannesburg.
Not only did Ngqula, who is an International Relations and Politics student at the University of Johannesburg, walk away with the title of the shows new presenter but also with a R100 000 cash prize. “I am over the moon and I cannot wait to start this new journey. I want to give myself fully to this process.” she said. “One of the things I love about OPW is how it celebrates diversity and even though I’m Xhosa, I hope to share myself with the viewers and include all the amazing cultures we have in this country.”
Kayise will make her OPW debut in January 2018.
