Radio personality Somizi visited the USA for the MTV Video and Music awards and despite being so far away, still managed to make us laugh with a hilarious video posted on Instagram.
After three long seasons, Thembisa Mdoda has left Our Perfect Wedding and the hit show is hosting a presenter search this month to find fresh new talent to take over. In light of this, Somizi decided to throw his name in the mix by posting an audition tape.
With the Hollywood sign in the background, the video features Somizi covering the “wedding” of American actor Denzel Washington and South African singer Candy Tsamandele.
“So when I heard that Thembisa Mdoda is leaving OPW I thought hmmm I can do this. But on one condition. International weddings. So here’s my tape for an international wedding. Candy Tsamandele, congrats. Masambeni.”
While the chances of him becoming the new host are slim, it was pretty entertaining to watch and if Our Perfect Wedding ever does decide to become strictly international, we know just the person for the job.
