Dikeledi Moetji
A South African Rapper and songwriter Kwesta, whose real name is Senzo Vilakazi, born in Katlehong, Ekurhuleni Gauteng. Senzo is currently signed to his own independent and media company known as “Rap Lyf”.
Kwesta arguably did not make an immediate impact when he broke into the industry. The 29 year old announced that his third studio album Dakar II that was released on 26 February 2016 has been certified and declared by RISA as 7x platinum, making it the most successful Hip hop album ever, in terms of sales.
According to RISA, platinum is equal to 30 000 units, whereas Dakar II sold 210 000units, this is a pure milestone; Vilakazi is indeed the epitome of perseverance and hard work paying off. The rapper is however sarcastically unsure whether to celebrate the milestone yet, or wait until it is diamond.
