CELEBRATING WOMEN’S DAY
ONE NIGHT WITH THANDISWA MAZWAI
We are celebrating women in the month of August and we are ever indebted in the affluent history that is held in the commemoration. Our women daringly marched on the 9th of August 1956, from all various ethnic groups and ages to obliterate the laws that prohibited the movement rights of women. The month of August is very specific in the elevation of our women in South Africa, it draws censorious reminiscence that holds firm to the pride of our independence and the freedom of our own choices. They gathered in one accord and trudged towards the Union Building in Pretoria to gyrate the lives of women.
Our women thrived and vanquished in one spirit, Our country recognized the endeavor of women going against the odds of being potentially assassinated and incarcerated. Our women are indestructible and can withstand constraints of all breed. The Federation of Woman in South Africa (Fedsaw) was behind the troop that was induced by our own four (4) astounding women, Helen Joseph, Rahima Moosa, Sophy Williams and Lilian Ngoyi.We need to disentangle and memorialize Women’s Month with a joyous celebration, is there anyway than our own troika feminine artist gracing our podium? Emerald Resort & Casino in Vanderbijlpark, Sedibeng, on 8 August 2017.
The resorts cater to all our enchanting women #OneNight, the show attributes high point, local-artist, presenting their top hits. They will be demonstrating a Concord fraction that empowers and uplifts our South African Women through music, with Mazwai aka “King Tha” taking the stage supported by vocalist Kelly Khumalo and rising star Chainz on the decks. The show will start at 8 pm and end at 11 pm.
Tickets cost R250, with golden circle tickets going for R500
Our women were prohibited from self-governing their aspirations, forced to conform to restrictions that subdued freedom of women. We are grateful for the opportunity to dream and act on what we desire without restrictions. “Wathinta Imbokodo Wathinta Abafazi.”.
