Winter is finally over and spring is here once again. No longer will we have to bundle ourselves in layers of clothing to keep the cold away, but we can instead get ready to enjoy the outdoors with as many fun activities as we can possibly think of. If you can’t think of any, give some of these a try.
Create a Flower Garden
Spring and flowers go hand in hand with each other so what better way to celebrate spring than by creating your very own garden. Go get some seeds for your favourite flowers and get to work. Yes, it will take some time but when all your hard work transforms into a beautiful flower garden, it will be worth it.
Have a Picnic
Grab a blanket, pack some food and find the perfect spot to have a picnic. A day spent with family and friends, enjoying some delicious food and just taking the time to relax can be very satisfying.
Go Camping
Take some time to enjoy the great outdoors with a camping trip. Some people might hate the thought of camping in the wilderness so fear not, setting up a tent in your back yard can work to. As long as you’re outside, it’s still technically considered camping. Grab your best friends, set up a campfire (if you know how to), roast marshmallows, get a camp sing-along going or even tell ghost stories. Just be outdoors.
Beach Trip
The water might still be a little cold but who says you have to go in? There are so many other fun things to do at the beach. Take a stroll, build sandcastles, play sports or even just lay back and enjoy the sunshine.
Bird Watching
Spring brings warmer weather, so some types of birds may just migrate to your region. Grab a pair of binoculars and try to spot as many species as you can. You can even make a fun game of it to play with others willing to join you.
Fly a Kite
This is a fun activity that almost all children love doing (and even some adults). Let them get their creative side showing by creating and designing the coolest kite they can and when that windy day rolls around, let them go crazy.
