The 90’s was a great time for TV, giving us so many iconic shows like Friends, Melrose Place. Berverly Hills 90210, Saved by the Bell and of course Dawson’s Creek. It might be a little hard to believe that time flew by so fast but this year Dawson’s Creek celebrates it’s 20 year anniversary.
The show originally aired on January 20th, 1998 and was a major hit with the viewers with it’s amazing storylines, characters an epic Team Pacey vs Team Dawson debate. The show was so good that it spanned six seasons and made household names of the actors James Van Der Beek, Katie Holmes, Joshua Jackson and Michelle Williams.
The cast of Dawson’s Creek recently reunited for the 20th anniversary on the cover of Entertainment Weekly. “It’s the #DawsonsCreek reunion you’ve been waiting for! We brought the cast of the landmark show back together for it’s 20th anniversary to reminisce about Capeside, talk about reboot chances and more.”
While the cast did reunite to celebrate the anniversary it doesn’t seem likely that a series reboot may happen. All we can do is hope for another show to become just as iconic as it was.
