
Sensational boy band The Vamps were scheduled to come to South Africa this March on tour for the very first time. However due to some recording schedule conflicts, they announced that the tour would be postponed. Fans were no doubt disappointed about this, but new dates for 2018 have been announced.
If you aren’t a fan of The Vamps yet, here are five reasons that you should love them.
1. They come from humble beginnings
The Vamps, Brad Simpson, James McVey, Tristan Evans and Conner Ball, started out by doing cover versions on YouTube in 2012 and they quickly gained popularity. They eventually signed a record deal with Mercury Records and released their first single, “Can We Dance”, on YouTube which gained over a million views in two weeks.
2. Their music is great
The Vamps music is extremely catchy and fun to listen to. They are upbeat and are sure to put you in a good mood after listening to them. They have even been compared to former boy band One Direction.
3. They love their fans
The Vamps love their fan base and show it by doing regular live stream interactions to help fans with problems they might be facing, doing several meet and greets and treating their fans like friends.
4. They are good friends
They aren’t just a band, they are really good friends in real life. They are always posting pictures of themselves hanging out or goofing around with each other and have said many times that they like being together.
5. They are down to earth guys
