Rapper Cassper Nyovest released his new album, Thuto, this year and his new music video for the song Destiny has been a big hit among fans.
The song is a duet featuring American singer and songwriter Goapele, which puts a spin on the chorus of the hit song Destiny by Malaika.
The video tells a love story that is set in the future, where we see Goapele watching over an elderly man and reminiscing on her love story with Cassper. We then find out that she is actually a robot that was built by him to ‘engineer love’. Turns out he is the elderly man and Goapele is forced to watch him on his death bed.
The video has been praised for its touching message, amazing visuals that make you believe you really are in the future and for its great storytelling.
It has gained much popularity on social media, with over 500 000 views on YouTube and is being referred to as the rappers best video yet.
