Busisiwe Thwala known as “CiCi”, the singer liberated her music video to her tune; “Iqiniso” and fans began embracing it immediately with certain individuals treasuring her fortitude.
The vocalist/performer, around July released a track designated Iqiniso in which she gushes her soul out and demonstrates the agony of dismay and anguish coming after vacating an abusive relationship with the kwaito star (.Arthur Mafokate -55) The controversy around her music video seems as though she is disclosing herself as a casualty of supposed physical abuse, she maintains that the track does not scrutinize that aspect of her life.
The accident was so severe she had a pelvic substitution subsequent to the professed assault on the account of Mafokate who apparently hauled her from his vehicle.
Busisiwe arraigned him of the usual assault at the Midrand police station, backing which he was later apprehended and what followed was his release on bail.
“I felt that in life we’ve all gone through pain and heartbreak. And sometimes all we want is for the other person to say that they are sorry and mean [it] so we are able to find [peace]. The topic addressed in the song is quite universal which is why I feel so many individuals can identify,” she stated.
She was latterly a part of the AmbitiouZ Entertainment family, following the depart from “Arthur Mafokate’s record label 999”. She stated that regardless of the circumstance that transpired in their private relationship, the company was about to be closed down anyways.
