She will be gracing our motherland – Cape Town shores, familiar for iconic characters such as – “Princess Tiana in Disney’s The Princess (voicing out her character) & The Frog, and playing Lorell Robinson in Dreamgirls alongside Jennifer Hudson and Beyoncé”, presently she has been spotted on a program on BET’s “The Quad “ portraying the character of Dr Eva Fletcher.
Noni portrayed the character as an adult “Kizzy” in some episodes of television’s Roots, a modification of the book by Alex Haley and a modulate of the cutting edge 1977 miniseries. Distractor Alan Sepinwall, in recommending Emmy nominees to the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences, referred to her as
“one of the best parts of the outstanding Roots ensemble”.
