One of South Africa’s greatest comedians is making his way back this August for a comedy show in partnership with the Daily Show and Comedy Central.
Trevor Noah has had much success in America over the past few years, replacing Jon Stewart as host of Comedy Centrals the Daily Show and has even released an autobiography, Born a Crime: Stories from a South African Childhood. He has also won several awards including the MTV Movie and TV Award for Best Host, Nickelodeon Kids Choice Award for Favourite African Star and National Association for the Advancement of Coloured People Image Award for Outstanding Host in a News, Talk, Reality or Variety (Series or Special) and Outstanding Literary Work – Debut Author.
Noah announced that he would be doing the show in a video on Comedy Central’s Twitter account. “I am coming back home to do a show – not because Donald Trump has kicked me out, but because I would like to do a show for you at the TicketPro Dome on 10 and 11 August. New jokes, new show, new guests – see you there,”
We all look forward to have Trevor Noah return to South Africa and are anticipating another hilarious show like the ones before.
