Less than 24 hours after Miniaj dropped her collaboration with Yo Gotti video for “Rake it Up”, raps reigning queen announced that she is set to release her second MAC cosmetics collection in September.
MAC cosmetics has held a giant presence in the music industry by forming strategic alliances with various well established musicians including Rihanna, Arianna Grande , Lady Gaga and Miley Cyrus
Nicki will be translating her recent style into the cosmetic line by customizing and designing two creamy pink lipstick shades suggestively dubbed Nicki’s Nude and The Pinkprint, an ode to her album of the same name which debuted at number one on the Top R&B/ Hip Hop charts in 2014.
She formerly created a lavender lipstick benefiting MAC’s Viva Glam foundation in 2012.
Taking to Instagram, Minaj teased that the September 21 launch is just the beginning for her and MAC company. “Guess who’s back w/M·A·C? Surprise announcement coming for 2018! Until then, #NickiNudes come out globally in September. #MACxNickiMinaj”.
