1) Of all the places you have visited around the world, which one would you say was your best?
There really isn’t a best. Each place has it’s own unique beauty that makes it it’s best, based on the experience that you are looking to have. For instance, I have been to India, Deli, GOA and also the Taj Mahal however it wasn’t until we had the rare opportunity to visit Kashmeir in 2008 when they opened the boarders to tourists. I spent two weeks on a houseboat named Chicago. I climbed the Himalayan Mountains, met families who make the Persian rugs and pick saffron. There wasn’t any machinery and it was like going back in time a few thousand years. The people where beautiful and humble. This was really a once in a lifetime event for me. Shortly after I was in Australia visiting family and I took a road trip from Melbourne to Baron Bay and ended up hang gliding over Australia’s most easterly point! Both are huge but different and equally the best! https://youtu.be/WooVrnIOJ7w
2) Can you tell us a little be about what theReal Deal is for anyone who has not heard of it?
If you are talking about The Real Deal Magazine, yes I can tell you alot about it. In NYC and Miami it is know as The Real Estate Bible! I have been an associate of the magazine for a decade and have to say that they do it the best!
If you are talking about Real Deals being done in the city I need a more detailed question. Real Estate has many layers and strategies for each.
3) What are some of your favorite hangout spots in NYC ?
It all depends on what season, time of the day and week it is. Quality of food is the most important to me and also the environment. My favorite burger “FastCasual” place is Bareburger, the food is organic and also the beer and wine. I can have a great dinning experience knowing that the food is top quality and made with my well being in mind. If I have clients coming in and I want to take them to have a cool NYC nightlife experience I will head to the Meatpacking District. On the weekends, besides the nightlife, you will find brunch parties with the excitement of a Friday or Saturday night club go to Bagatelle. So if you are an early riser this would be your best option. If you want the feeling of old New York and get to hob nob with Celebrities then Boutique on 58th street across the street from the plaza is the way to go. If you want fine Greek dining in the theater district crowd my favorite is Kellari Taverna on 44th street located on Club Row which is a beautiful historic block where you will find the Yale Club. NYC has something for everyone 24/7 As you already know that we are the city that never sleeps!
4) You are always so lovely put together, what would yousay your fashion and beauty secrets are?
Well Thank you! Beauty and fashion comes from within. My diet is where I start, In 2010 I was diagnosed with Hypothyroidism and had tweak my lifestyle to heal my metabolism. I don’t eat fast food or processed food. At home everything is organic from spices ect. . . When eating out I do my best to eat organic and whole foods, hence why Bareburger is my favorite. For me being on a Keto Diet and Intermittent Fasting works best. For skin I stay hydrated and drink lemon water every morning. Also I do facial exercises in addition to going to the gym. Coconut oil and apple cider vinegar are staples in my house. As far as fashion goes I think its important to find or create a look that represents your best self. Personally I’m an extrovert and big personality so I go for a classy look which evens out with my personality. A classy look with some statement pieces letting my personality shine along with the pieces.
5) What is one of your favorite parts about working inthe realty industry?
My favorite part is creating experiences, in 2011 I started working at DouglasElliman’s Retail Group where I learned everything there was to know about fashion and the ins and outs of one of the most Iconic avenues in the world” Madison Avenue” Through my time there I got to befriend and work with some of the most brilliant minds in Real Estate and Fashion. Real Estateis al about the Experience, Experience, Experience. . . With online shopping being a big disrupter across many industries bricks and mortar have added elements of experience to attract people and keep them there longer.
