Bonang is a very important person and she’s always attending very important, not to mention very lavish events. Being the fashion icon she is, it comes as no surprise that the queen will go all out every single time. The thing I love most about her gown choices is that she loves wearing local. South Africa has such talented designers and her gowns is a constant proof of it. The truth is, everytime Bonang puts on a dress, she leaves us breathless. We, however, narrowed it down to 5 times she stunned us in her beautiful gowns this year.
Number one on the list is of course her beautiful ball gown, pink dress she wore on her 30th birthday party. The dress is by the very talented Gert Johan Coetzee.
To the South African Music Awards she wore this beautiful corset dress with sheer lace bodice by designer Orapeleng Modutle.
Next we have a dress by designer Orapeleng Modutle again. This time it’s a white, mermaid style, lace dress with chiffon sleeves. Styled by Lesego Kgosimolao for a shoot at Steyn City.
While hosting the Namibia Annual Music Awards 2017, she wore an elegant, emerald green, see through, mermaid style dress with a high neck. The dress was designed by Ruberto Scholtz.
And finally we have her in a nude, sheer and obviously, her famous mermaid style dress with silver embellishments by Warrick Gautier. She rounded off her look with a belt by Gert Johan Coetzee.
