Picking a name for your baby is one of, if not the most important things in their life. After all, this is the name they will have for the rest of their life, so it’s important that not only you love it, but that they will love it to. Celebrities giving their babies unique names are a common occurrence, particularly in Hollywood. However what makes some of these names special is the reason behind them. Here are a few examples.

Beyoncé gave birth to her adorable twins this year and like their older sister, have rather unique names. Rumi was named after their favorite poet Jalāl ad-Dīn Muhammad Rūmī and Sir was because he came out looking like a sir.
Kanye West and Kim Kardashian – North and Saint West
These baby names were mocked by some but perhaps if they knew the true meaning behind them, they would think twice. Their daughter was named North because it is the highest point and the couple felt that she was their highest point. As for Saint, he got his name became his parents thought he was a blessing to them due to Kim have a difficult pregnancy.
Jessica Alba and Cash Warren – Haven
Their daughter Haven was named after the way she was delivered, still inside her amniotic sac. She was born in her safe haven. It is a beautiful name just like her older sibling Honor.
Rachel Bilson and Hayden Christensen – Briar Rose
This couple named their baby girl after the Disney Princess, Sleeping Beauty.
Candice Swanepoel and Hermann Nicoli – Anacã
The South African model named her son with her husband’s Brazilian background in mind. Anacã is the Brazilian word for bird.
