Hit girl group Fifth Harmony took the stage in what could possibly be their final performance together at the Hard Rock Live at The Event Centre last week.
The group was formed six years ago on American television show X Factor and consisted of Camila Cabello, Ally Brooke Hernandez, Lauren Jauregui, Dinah Jane and Normani Kordei. Cabello was the first to leave the group and has had a successful solo career so far. Back in March, the group took to social media to announce their hiatus to pursue their own solo path.
“We do need to take some time, for now, to go on a hiatus from Fifth Harmony in order to pursue solo endeavours. We are all very excited and grateful to be able to take this time to learn and grow creatively and really find our footing as individuals.” They wrote.
This day was bound to happen as the sad truth is that is that music groups, boy bands and girl group especially, will never last. Just like fan favourites such as N’sync, Spice Girls, Big Time Rush and even One Direction, it has to end sometime. Here’s wishing all members success in their future musical journeys.
