
Maintaining a healthy lifestyle is something we all strive for but can often be harder to follow than we might think. Zintle Ntshikila is an inspiration to all who wish to have a healthier lifestyle.
After not liking the way she looked in pictures, she decided to make a change in her own lifestyle and have a body she was proud of. She lost 50kg in two years and is more confident than ever.
In an interview with Women’s Health SA, Ntshikila revealed how she did it. She began to prepare much healthier versions off her favourite foods and measured her portions properly. She stopped eating bread and meat completely, drank plenty of water and started exercising by going on walks that eventually turned into runs. She also went to the gym regularly and participated in cardio exercises such as spin classes and step classes.Her advice was to:*Start where you are*Use what you have*Do what you can
Ntshikila also had the support of her family. “My husband would train with me on some days, which made things a lot easier.” she said in an interview with Destiny Connect. “Before i knew it i had taught myself to prepare healthy meals and become creative with healthy eating. I thank myself for making that decision in January 2012 and I will forever say: I know you can, you know you can, together we can.”She has since created Team Hlasela, a weight loss coaching business on Instagram that is all about her healthy lifestyle. It shows people how to play around with their food by making them healthier the way she did.
